CATH KIDSTON, AN OBSESSION + {FUN FT. JANELLE MONÁE}

today I'm going to confess my addiction! One of my confessable vices and possibly someone has already noticed looking at some of the photos of the blog. Because I, Begoña alias Tea on the moon, I happen to be addicted to Cath Kidston. Yes, I admit it publicly and screaming! I always thought that the English prints were a bit shorter until I met Cath (we are already intimate) and I had to eat petal by petal each of the flowers that appear in their prints, and which I declare unconditional fan.

Our love relationship began more than five years ago, and you will forgive if all this sounds exaggerated, but is that day walking through the area of Covent Garden we ran into a store to which I surrendered to his prints and I swallowed All my opinions on that English flowered style.

This is the facade of the store that is in the area of seven dials next to Covent Garden, an area with several streets full of shops highly recommended to get lost. As you can see from the pictures (chickens, chicks) it was Easter time.

On our trips to London, and it was clear what I was going to bring and suitcase left the room for my souvenir (I guess that's part of the love I have for you, remembering that everything has the moment I bought é). In fact, some kings or birthday presents had been a voucher for this store. And so I've been collecting ... slippers, tablecloths, fabrics, handbags, purse, keychain, boxes, cups, a case, the toiletry bag ... but my level of fanaticism has reached unsuspected or supernatural levels for the rational vein, but that's what madness is (something I feel in a similar way when I put in front of stationery and scrapbook material), what I was going for, that I publicly acknowledge that I have the kitchen towels, a shower cap and the cover of the ironing board made by Cath Kidston, wing I have already said, as you had been, hahahaha, uffff, yes, yes, gentlemen, my name is Begoña and I am addicted to Cath Kidston and no, I do not want a solution! ;-)

The next step for a fan of a product is to go through the different stores, because obviously there is not the same in some others :-)). Some are smaller, others larger, some have more fabrics, others more bags ... Surely if you have been in London in recent years you will have stumbled into one of their stores that have in the key points of the city. Total, that my two favorite stores are Covent Garden that has a little of everything, although there are few fabrics and is usually quite busy, and the one in  Marylebone, which has two floors, and which is usually much quieter, have a good assortment of fabrics, bags and things for the kitchen. In fact, all the photos you will see below are from the store at the end of Marylebone Street, a street not so touristy and full of cool shops, but that will be for another day!
I do not roll up and I let you enjoy (or not, you might think that this style is a big tacky, hahahahaha) By the way, they have online store and ship to Spain. I have not tried it and I do not know the ports ...

Fabrics, sewing boxes, sewing books, bags to put the needles to make media, buttons, ribbons, clothes ...

Kitchen section, with cups, napkins, rags, and aprons with different patterns from their collections.

Well, and since today we talk about obsessions I leave you with another "obsession", but in this musical case: We are young from the New York group  Fun with the collaboration of the great Janelle Monáe (of whom I already spoke here  and here ) song that I give to the repeat often, and of which I love this acoustic version.
